A bit of a funk...

In a bit of a funk today...new, darker hair color is bringing me down, the snow, the cold, the perpetual mess I call home, the feeling of never catching up, the dry itchy winter skin...ugh! a bit of a pitty party around here...so let me tell you about the delectably indulgent chocolate chip cookies I've been eating to numb my mid winter blues...I picked up some Jacques Torres Chocolate when I was in NYC this summer and made a huge batch of his amazing chocolate cookie recipe...I'm feeling a little pleased with myself because I divided the batter into 3 batches, made one and froze 2 for future emergency pick-me-up situations...I highly recommend if you find yourself in a similar situation...

  1. I know exactly how you feel. I was about to engage in some very expensive retail therapy. This is a much better remedy. My checking account and I thank you!

  2. Everybody seems to be blah today - blogged about it myself, many of the bloggers that I follow are saying the same. What is it about today?

  3. i'm sorry you're in a funk. i'd say that i love your hair, but i know it doesn't help if you hate your hair and everyone else loves it. hoping those cookies hit the spot for you!

  7. I just finished up my bag of chocolate discs that I picked up with you at Jacques Torres last summer! The baked cookies freeze really well, too.
