Reconfiguring...

Instead of moving or adding on we're working on reconfiguring our space to make it a little more user friendly...right now my office/guest room is in a attic loft space and we'd love to move our bedroom up there - would this beam ceiling look amazing??

Clutter reigns supreme in our house - this space looks so calm and pure...wonder if we could pull it off?  I'm definitely feeling this platform bed...

again, love the ceilings and the mix of subtle patterns...

and ceilings, ceilings, ceilings...

 the coolest staircase ever, no?

these amazing doors would never work in our tiny bathroom but aren't they heaven?
this simple gingko mobile is calling my name...
all images above found via pinterest

and new wild unknown prints always make me happy...

Don't forget about our recipe exchange - have you stopped by to check out Torrie's recipes today? - run over!! They sound amazing...butternut squash, white bean, and sage soup and an autumn salad - Delish!!!
you can find the full schedule here...xoxo, M

  3. Thanks for the shout out!

We have older-ish home and although there are many frustrations encountered along the way... the beam ceilings are one of my favorite features.

Now, not having an attic, or any insulation whatsoever is another story:).

Look forward to seeing pictures of your home improvement projects (*hint, hint)!

  7. gorgeous. i know the owner of the first place--that's an old church here in vancouver that they reno'd and made their home. she's also a brilliant textile artist, hence the awesome pillows, etc.
