My friend S just sent me a note that she was headed to Venice...sigh...so dreamy! My husband proposed to me in Italy and Venice was especially romantic...my favorite part was just hanging out at Caffe Florian in Piazza San Marco. The waiters wear immaculate white tuxes, serve everything on silver trays while the orchestra plays...Love! I think our bill for ice cream and beer was about 35 euros (8 years ago) but it was worth it!
