Totally obsessing over...Paula Greif - not only is her pottery amazing but her bio has the makings of a giant girl crush...

Beautiful Dreamers - the one store I made a point to visit on our NY trip...pretty much a dream shop for my hippie leaning, plant loving heart...(those gorgeous textiles are the lovely Joanna's aka Kneeland Co)

Pretty much every single thing on the No 6 blog...especially the floral print skirts...

the new seasonal collection at Heath is kind of blowing my mind...the exact perfect Michelle shades...ready made for a Mother's Day gift (hint, hint)

the new Eye of Ra collection from Odette - that double finger ring is ridiculously rad...

 and finally...native shoes for kiddos (okay, totally behind the curve here)...waterproof, slip on, and Lila approved...now there's no excuse to wear those other waterproof, slip on kicks people...

Apples to Apple

So we just got back from a five day stint in NYC with the girlies and are off to a goat farm tomorrow for the weekend...this caps off a month that began with a 10 yr  wedding anniversary, a 1 year birthday celebration, a cancelled London for two vacation and an impromptu big apple sojourn...no wonder I was having a bit of a meltdown!  I'm looking forward to a peaceful getaway and returning renewed and refreshed to an empty calendar in May!  

New York was fun but completely exhausting (as evidenced by the fact that my 4 year old took a nap which NEVER happens)...Even though I've been to New York almost a dozen times I completely underestimated the logistics of covering the city with two young kiddos...there were some good moments...walking across the Brooklyn bridge is always magic to me and was made more so by the newly restored carousel at the foot of it...

okay - off to add in all the new goodies for the shop I came home to...check in soon for Loup Charmant & Odette plus ERMIE!! (one dress is already sold out!), and the much coveted Object + Totem necklaces...

Oh friends...how are you? I'm feeling a little underwater lately...just doing a lot and none of it well!  and maybe having a bit of a mommy breakdown moment realizing that my baby will be ONE on Saturday...good but bittersweet...wishing that I had soaked in every moment a bit more & really wanting to bottle up the next year and hang tight with my girlies...so I'm refocusing my attention a bit and hoping to turn the store back into a side project instead of a main course...not to worry - there will still be lots of ridiculously awesome things to tempt your wallets but I'm going to hold back on the clothing end for fall and really offer an amazing, curated selection of jewelry, handbags, and of course my favorite - scarves! Meringue & Stars...

Hello lovelies! Hope everyone had a delicious holiday weekend...We kicked it off Friday with a 10th anniversary date at the new place to dine - The Bachelor Farmer (okay, new to me since I don't get out past 6pm these days)...the food was fantastic, the design exceptional, but it was the drinks that have me dreaming of a return visit...I had the Oliveto, which was this amazing, light as air concoction involving gin, egg whites and olive oil...go figure huh?

Speaking of light as air...Heidi Merrick's newest pieces just arrived - a frothy group of creamy cottons & silks...the Duke dress or Godet skirt would be just stunning for a more casual summer wedding...

and more spring & summer staples form those masters of casual chic, Ace & Jig...the first group was gone in a flash so I'm happy to have new pieces in the shop - I just might have to grab some for myself first!
