Good Morning Friends! How was your Thanksgiving? Ours was pretty low key this year (the best kind in my opinion) even though I was put in charge of the turkey...which, after 9 cups of duck fat and 24hrs of brining and confiting, I'm going to give a generous B-...I used this recipe from Bon Appetit (leave it to me to pick the most complicated scenario) and I think really when it comes to turkey the only real difference is juicy or dry...am I right? Friday morning I curled up in my pjs and proceeded to online shop my way through 90% of my Christmas list...can I tell you how good that feels people? I'm usually a Dec 24th, crazy, trying to get something, anything, kind of gal so I'm pretty jazzed about the whole thing...seriously, the internet is all kinds of awesome...
which of course brings me to CYBER MONDAY! Yep, one very, very, not gonna be this awesome of a deal, last day people...30% OFF all orders over $150 - enter "MONDAY12" at checkout...
I also spent part of the weekend trying to whip my new studio space into shape (!!)...yes, PM will have a new headquarters that I am sharing with the lovely Emily of Collect Vintage & my favorite interior designer extraordinaire Nadia Haddad...it's coming along and fingers crossed we will have it pretty enough to be open for a pop-up shop this Thursday night...so swing on by Nov 29th from 4-8 and help me toast to having my house back to myself and pretty new digs to work out of...
316 W 48th St (near the corner of 48th & grand - 2 blks from 46th Patisserie, oh my!)
Finally, On a completely unrelated note I bring you Good Buy #3...these shoes from Anniel, which I fell in love with when I visited Kathryn's amazing shop and have been on my feet ever since...soooo comfy, so warm...not entirely up to snuff for snow but what the hey? sometimes practicality has to take a back seat...so here's to an unpractical but cozy Monday...
xoxo, M
