Her character is always very feminine and a little vintage - never showy or flashy. It was a great reminder that sometimes looking pretty is better than looking cool. So, let's start with this cute little blue & white Converse® One Star® Striped Shirtdress I spied at Target last week. It fits the bill at only $29.99
She wears some great flat boots, slip on keds, and cute wedges in the movie, but these look the part as well. Sven Clogs can be customized to your liking and I love the vintage/european feel (Thanks for the tip Bridgett!). This is a gorgeous Robin's Egg Blue - $148
To add a little quirky flair, Zooey D wore some great butterfly pins in her hair and as brooches...I think it looks fresh in Cloisonne instead of a traditional rhinestone setting - $6.00
til inspiration strikes again...xoxo - M

(If you google a bit you can also find the original for about $60)
I love it with a rolled up boyfriend jean for a gamine effect.
How can you go wrong with the Parisian version of Converse?
Bensimon La Tennis Lacets in Marine - $55
Once the weather gets crisp I'll throw this Ponte Beau Blazer by Cartonnier - $98 - over the whole ensemble. J'adore the fact that it's been done in a cozy knit and predict it will be your new fall favorite...C'est magnifique!
Finally, like any good French girl, I know that an outfit isn't complete without a bit of sexiness, so I'm cutting my nails super short and laquering them with a gorgeous, classic rouge
Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour - $20
Ooh la la!
Til next week - Au Revoir! A Bientot! A tout a l'heure!
(okay - think it's all out of my system now - whew!)
